Huawei SmartAX MT880 Modem / SmartAx MT882 ADSL Modem Configuration-TYPE-I Modem Configuration

 There are two models of SmartAx MT880 ADSL Modem...

1. SmartAx MT880 ADSL Modem has One ethernet Port.
2. SmartAx MT882 ADSL Modem has One ethernet Port and one USB Port.

For Using USB Port...

1. Set your computer IP address as 192.168.1.2 (If you are using USB port, install USB driver first)
2. Open Internet Explorer in the Address bar type the URL http://192.168.1.1
3. Enter Username and Password. Default Username and Password is...
1. Username: admin
2. Password: admin
4. Click on Home.
5. Click on WAN setting.
6. Your WAN Setting should be as follows...
1. PVC No.: PVC0
2. Wan type: PPP
3. Connection Type : PPPoE
4. VPI / VCI : 0/35
5. Default Route : Enabled
6. Username: yourusername@dataone
7. Password: yourpassword
8. Use DNS : Enabled
7. Click on Apply.
8. Please Save and Reboot.
9. Select Yes.
10. Once your modem is rebooted , the summary page will be displayed .
11. The "Green" status of PVC0 status indicated that you are now connected. (At Summary page)
12. SmartAx MT882 ADSL Modem ADSL LED will turn 'Orange' from 'green' when succesfully connected.
